Noblesse Oblige
Marquis de Sade, a French writer of novels, plays, and philosophical treatises, gained notoriety from publication of his long-suppressed erotic works. Born in Paris, Comte Donatien Alphonse François de Sade (1740-1814) received a death sentenced after trial (1772) for a series of sexual crimes. He escaped and spent many years in one of the first lunatic asylums in France after his recapture (1777) and died there.
In his prolific writing, de Sade described various sexual activities that he practiced which resulted in coining of the term “sadism”. Sadism means a neurosis in which one gains sexual satisfaction by the infliction of pain on others. de Sade wrote many short stories characterized by a preoccupation with sexual violence.
French historical revisionists have described Marquis de Sade as a philosopher of the Enlightenment. The Enlightenment, an 18th century philosophical movement, emphasized the use of reason to scrutinize accepted doctrines and traditions. The movement resulted in some humanitarian reform. Subsequently, Victor Hugo (1802-85), a French poet, dramatist, and novelist, wrote:
In this world, which is so plainly the antechamber of another, there are no happy men. The true division of humanity is between those who live in light and those who live in darkness. Our aim must be to diminish the number of the latter and increase the number of the former. That is why we demand education and knowledge. [01]
European holocaust revisionists have denied the massacre of millions of civilians by Nazis ever happened. In a similar way historical revisionists have changed French history. They have tried to justify de Sade’s depravity and his retreat from noblesse oblige - benevolence and honor supposedly inherited through noble birth.
Revisionism like propaganda founds upon disinformation, a mixture of truth and lies used to induce insecurity. Propaganda techniques, used by Joseph Goebbels, helped the Nazis to gain control over the German people by coercing them to submit to an ideology. Then an indifferent populace destroyed itself through appeasement.
History has shown that Marquis de Sade possessed nothing more than advantages and status acquired through birth, affluence, and social position. Others have condemned him as a libertarian atheist and satanic monster who took pornography and violence to the absolute limit. He spent most of his life in prison and a lunatic asylum for his violent behavior toward women.
de Sade had a philosophical bent that foreshadowed Nazi eugenics - selective human breeding and extermination. He wrote:
The state can easily be burdened by fewer people . . . bastards, orphans, malformed infants should be condemned to death immediately they are pupped.
He had a formal Jesuit education in Paris where he received a grounding in the classics. The homosexuality among Jesuits, and de Sade’s experience with corporal punishment at their hands, probably accounted for his deviant behavior and anal eroticism. He lived ahead of his time in defending sexual proclivity that differed from accepted practices. He claimed that homosexuals bore no more guilt than the lame or the blind for their condition. Paradoxically, he then promoted the extermination of “malformed infants”.
Felippe Jacques., a Council House deviant, poses as a “philosopher” although he has neither written or published anything nor does he support his contentions rationally. Reading a few books on philosophy does not make a person who cannot think a philosopher - a calm and rational person who can think. Bigotry, violence, and malice do not figure into the equation. A philosopher lives in the light and has the ability to critically inquire into events with an open mind. To paraphrase Hugo, the true division of humanity lies between those living in light and those living in darkness. Felippe Jacques, by his own admission, lives in darkness. In an autobiographical “confession” about his deviant behavior, he variously refers to anti-Semitism, neo-fascism, misogynism, homophobia, and violence. The directors and managers implicitly condone these negative traits when he openly practices them at Council House.
Felippe Jacques happily agrees with a comparison of him with Marquis de Sade and acts accordingly. Like de Sade, he propounds atheism, claims noble birth, takes violence to the limit, and received a Jesuit education in Paris. In his confession, he writes about himself in the third person, thus:
The moral teachings dispensed to him by his stern Jesuit teachers were of no avail and were easily obliterated from his mind when the opportunity to act violently presented itself. He knows that he can rationalize all he wants about the fact that those who were the object of one of his fits of violence were truly deserving of it - low-lifers, criminals, violent people themselves, liars, cheaters, abusers, dishonest people.
[He knew] very well that his taste for violence which had marred most of his life, a disposition over which he had to exercise a constant and vigilant control, came from neither his parents nor his environment which was one of civility, genteel style and of a patrician culture. It was an intrinsic part o[f] him, period. He had always sought opportunities for violence knowing perfectly well how wrong it was.
But it is also very clear to him that he lack[s] the moral ground upon which to stand on this matter and that any argument in defense of his actions lacks in ethical consistency. The use of brutal power against a certain kind of individual had always been extremely rewarding to him. It provided him with a much sought after sense of purpose, of finality, of justice. . . .
To justify his violence and bigotry Felippe Jacques gives an account of his activities as a vigilante. He tells how he took the law into his own hands on several occasions with violence mostly directed at minority people - typical of the “coolie abuse” prevalent among imperialists during the nineteenth century:
Like the street pimp who, in broad day light, slashed the face of one [of] his whores, that he chased into an alley in China Town rolling over the screaming black man with his heavy Ford Bronco and enjoying the terrifying noise of legs being reduced to pulp.
Or when he shoved the barrel of a 38 Magnum with a single bullet in it into the mouth of a woman beater and pulled the trigger twice before that cretin fainted, not before soiling his pants.
On another occasion Jacques claims that:
He learned that the Chinese had let his crew know that they could have, for a modest some, [sic] any woman they wanted. . . . a tall, bulky Australian laughed at him and suggested that he do the same. Because the stupid Aussie was a very strong man he broke both his kneecaps with a lead pipe . . .
He then opened the safe and got the ship's single gun, a 7.65 millimeter Herstall with a sixteen shots clip, and went to see the foreman. . . . He told the foreman to remove his right shoe and then he blew the Chinese's big toe off (the remaining [sic] of it was amputated by the ship's medic) and told him . . . he would keep on blowing off every one of that man's toes until it was really over.
He has described his unsatisfactory sexual relations with a Jewish woman at Council House in detail. He says he delights in manipulating her and other women. He later suborned her and her mother to write and file perjured declarations. The following excerpt from his confession describes his motivation in similar relationships:
With a chuckle the old man sometimes reminisce[s] about two or three Jewish women of that generation that had stepped into his life. Their beauty and smarts barely compensated for their extreme unsteadiness in matters of sex and affection, an insecurity they disguised . . . They were prone to questionable intellectualization about themselves and others and led miserable lives, however, those were liberated miserable lives.
Not without sin, the Council House woman lives with her mother as a “care-giver” probably as an illegal resident. She propositions other men at Council House and will apparently give care to any resident who feels unloved and unwanted.
Felippe Jacques’s anti-Semitism and misogynism becomes more apparent from this statement:
. . . The tragic consequence of the confluence of Jewishness, Jewish messianism, Jewish desire for revenge, in tandem with the agonizing rootlessness that is the Jewish birthmark, plus Marx and Freud’s messianic influences and the genuine desire to free one’s self from millenarian traditions of female submissiveness, a submissiveness codified in the Torah, had the effect of producing - for the delight of standup comics - the most confused, the most erratic, the most insecure and at the same [time] the most extraordinary generation of Jewish women since Sarah.
Later, he sent a perceived “death threat” and followed it up thus:
I have a taste for violence, and occasionally I like to inflict pain on [a] certain kind of individuals. . . . I have always enjoyed beating the shit out of gays and assorted low lifers. . . . As for the [F]irst Amendment, shove it up you ass.
Attorneys for Council House received a letter of complaint (10 Jan 01) about Felippe J and the directors received copies individually. However, neither the attorneys nor the directors did anything to alleviate the threats and violent assaults that still continue two years later.
Instead, they chose to listen to Felippe Jacques’s inane rambling then jailed the messengers. Stephen Mitchell, Council House administrator, continues to rely almost entirely upon Felippe Jacques to make management decisions and enforce them. As recently as last week, Jacques again acted as spokesman for Council House when he spewed another tissue of lies to an unsuspecting reporter - Rita Weinstein - [The Jewish Transcript (07 Feb 03)]. Hypocritically, Council House directors now use pictures of Felippe Jacques on their brochures, in newspapers, and on their web site. They use this unprincipled, misanthropic thug as their principle propagandist and poster boy which reflects their own moral turpitude. [Marquis de Sade] [Propaganda]
Recently Jacques, installed computer extensions to an existing T1 line in about twenty apartments. He denied that access to long-standing residents whom he does not like. New residents receive this service as soon as they take up tenancy probably as a sales move. Both Stephen Mitchell and his rental agent Audrey D. concur with his decision to abrogate tenant rights and have condoned his censorship of house computers and bulletin boards. Managers allow Jacques to operate completely out of control.
In a consort, a triumvirate has devised fantastic strategies and have lead the directors and their lawyers by the nose for several years with their perverse playacting. Stephen Mitchell allegedly suffers from histrionic/narcissistic personality disorders or similar dysfunctions - it will take a gaggle of psychiatrists or Shakespeare to figure out which diagnosis specifically relates to him. [04] His allergic reaction to honey manifests in his behavior. A narcissistic playboy, he lacks any sweetness or common decency and behaves monstrously toward elderly people. Felippe Jacques claims to have spent an extended period at the Betty Ford Center for Chemical Dependency. He said that a well-meaning prostitute arranged for his stay there because of his absolute incapacity. He also boasted of many other arrests in New York and in Florida where he owned a house. He claims that he shot a black man in Queens, NY, and the police never caught him.
He said that he spent all his money earned as a merchant seaman on gambling, prostitutes hired for extended periods, and on high-priced criminal lawyers to get him out of jail after his violent escapades. He claimed to have employed F. Lee Bailey, a prominent Massachusetts criminal attorney to represent him.
Despite Felippe Jacques’s self-proclaimed vigilantism, criminal assault, and substance abuse, Judge James A. Doerty, Washington Superior Court, and the directors continue to support him, condone his actions, and endorse his written declarations. Keep in mind while reading the excerpts from Felippe Jacques’s writing that Stephen Mitchell, the administrator employs him as one of five thugs (now four) to enforce zero-tolerance policies in a senior citizen residence.
While living at Council House, Felippe Jacques has committed a variety of assaults on residents including a street assault with a metal stick after stalking his victim. He has also committed perjury and suborned witnesses. Several judges have granted his victims protection after ambushes and assaults upon them in courthouses when they appeared as witnesses. Jacques openly claims that he can harass anyone that he wants without retribution using restraining orders that Judge Doerty issued. He claims that the court order gives him carte blanche and protects him from prosecution.
Incessant questioning and lay evaluation of Felippe Jacques (and quiet study of him and his behavior for more than two years) shows that he suffers from a similar dysfunction to that which he describes in Knate Stahl - apparently he sees himself reflected in Knate Stahl. He consistently characterizes everyone but himself as crazy. [Mindful Madness]
A member of a triumvirate of enforcers (Stephen Mitchell, Knate Stahl, and Felippe Jacques) They deliberately target residents with whom they disagree ideologically using both verbal and physical assault. If residents respond defensively then they report and act upon it as aggression - they project their own aggression onto their victims.
The triumvirate apparently suffers from egocentric absurdity - a tendency to fail to notice their absurd implications. Yet the directors implicitly rely upon them. They have based their decisions solely on insane fantasies and an incompetent legal counsel that believes what they say and write.
Much of what Felippe Jacques has written about Knate Stahl’s mental condition contains an element of truth verified by questioning other people, by inspecting medical records, and by questioning Knate Stahl himself. He again reflects himself during the process and sprinkles the piece with patently anti-Semitic remarks. His childlike mentality manifests in this excerpt:
[Knate Stahl] is a mentally disturbed person, dysfunctional to the point that he cannot hold a job and sustain himself. He needs daily doses of medication in order to keep in check his mental disfunction [sic]. A by-polar [sic] he is subject to drastic mood changes, going from euphoria to depression within minutes.
The only child of a single Jewish mother . . . he grew up as a JAP (Jewish American Prince) and when the prince turned in [sic] a very short ugly duckling, madness took over.
Typically, he sees himself and his ethnic group only under the prism of victimization . . . As a typical American Jew he sees Jews and Judaism as having a corner on morality and virtue.
Typical of the only child syndrome, [Knate Stahl has a brother according to sources attending a memorial service for the mother] he wants to be heard but not hear. He suffers from the Peter Pan syndrome. . . .
He is weak, coward, manipulative, a great ass kisser, a sycophant and will die without ever having acquired a personality.
Stephen Mitchell, an occasional actor and pathological liar, acts out his fantasies as the ruthless leader of two assistant administrators and a group of five thugs (Kapos). Principally, Felippe Jacques “Marquis de Sade” and Knate Stahl, a diagnosed schizophrenic, have formed a violent and evil triumvirate.
Both directors and staff lie until the truth catches up with them then they lie some more. Having lied for so long they believe that they tell the truth. Stephen Mitchell will do or say anything at any time to cover up his misconduct. Directors, staff, and selected residents refuse to believe indisputable facts in order to maintain a favorable self-image. This dysfunction probably results from denial and sublimation. Felippe Jacques continues his racist rambling. This rant exemplifies the de Sade identification:
Multiculturalism to him [Felippe Jacques] amounts to nothing more than an outrageous intellectual obscenity. . . . He knows that diversity and multiculturalism are code words for the demonizing of America and the West. . . . [an] ethnic or racially flawed concept of "self-esteem" . . . [boosted] exclusively through the denigration of the white culture . . . [that] can only lead to a chaotic and debilitating mongrelization of this nation.
Because victimization is the defining note of Judaism, Jews find delight in Leidensgeschichte (suffering history) and have always loved ideologies of revenge an attitude which explains not only Karl Marx himself but also the reason why his theories found so much receptivity among Jews.
Hitler's obsessive scientism led him to employ frequently the word "wissenschaft" (science) and thought of himself as rooted in the rational and scientific traditions of modern European civilization as he was certain that there were basis in science for all the beliefs and policies which he espoused.
The founding mothers of the American Feminist movement - in their vast majority, Jewish women - could not externalize their rebellion against Judaism and its tenets . . . in the same way that Marx found in the bourgeoisie of the nineteenth century the enemy of the working class.
. . . fascinated by idols and by the iconoclastic impulse proper to their age, it was natural then that these brilliant young women would rebel against that infernal theocracy which is Judaism.
Conclusion
Felippe Jacques ambushed this reporter then launched an unprovoked street attack upon him with a metal stick - assault in the second degree ranks as a class B felony. [05] He has also made death threats to several residents. The directors have neither taken action to restrain or evict him for those offenses. Nor have they acted against Jacques and the other thugs for breaching their leases through their violent and obnoxious behavior. The directors and their managers allow them to continue to operate completely out of control.
In a consort with Stephen Mitchell, Jacques has intimidated witnesses at least ten times, most recently at an eviction hearing when he threatened a former resident. Police records show that Jacques said to him in the courtroom in front of Stephen Mitchell and court officers: “I’m going to blow your fucking head off.” Malicious harassment classifies as a class C felony. [06] The Seattle police claim that they referred the incident to the District Attorney who has apparently done nothing about it.
The directors now allow Jacques unlicensed to drive a van and instal electrical (computer) wiring for which he allegedly receives payment (in money and in kind). He drives without proper documentation with a serious heart condition. This puts both passengers and pedestrians at risk. One cannot conceive that Council House insurers have issued a policy knowing his medical and psychiatric condition.
It also seems inconceivable that the allegedly queer Judge James A. Doerty would support, and enter into the court record, the unsupported racist and bigoted writings of a self-confessed, violent, homophobic, misanthropic, sadist. Doerty jailed this author in King County jail for exposing crimes committed at Council House based almost entirely on perjury suborned by Stephen Mitchell and Felippe Jacques
It seems even more bizarre that Judge Doerty issued an order for anti-harassment (prior restraint) that grants Council House employees and residents anonymity despite myriad felonies. He effectively gave them and their directors constructive immunity to continue behaving the same way. Now Doerty makes fictitious claims of stalking to provoke violation of his restraining order and to provide probable cause for a felony prosecution. [Court-Facilitated Terror Campaign]
Council House makes one think that Comte Donatien Alphonse François de Sade may not have deserved the infamy that his writing created. Maybe the revisionist opinions, like Judge Doerty’s draconian and probably insane decisions, should rule the world. Perhaps Victor Hugo did not have any idea of enlightenment and Felippe Jacques will go down in history as one of the world’s leading philosophers. Stephen Mitchell may become another Laurence Oliver after his stellar performance as Council House administrator.

Judge James A. Doerty, Superior Court, State of Washington, issued two anti-harassment orders and contempt citations to censor this forum by prior restraint at the behest of Council House directors and their administrator. Mary Kay Becker, Washington Court of Appeals affirmed them. Washington Supreme Court reversed most of those decisions (30 Mar 06).

Using their financial power, the directors obtained SLAPP (strategic lawsuit against public participation) court orders and contempt citations using perjured testimony against the author of valid exposé. They then had him jailed in solitary confinement.
In this case, SLAPP consists of frivolous charges designed to bankrupt an opponent and create a prior restraint. The landlords have used this tactic on several occasions to try to cover up issues that affect all their tenants.
Doerty thwarted an appeal of his findings for more than five years by withholding court documents and other manipulation. The author/publisher claims judicial bias and arbitrary censorship that deny him his rights under the First Amendment to the US Constitution and Washington State Constitution. Doerty has challenged a principle journalism ethic - seek truth and report it - by denying a reporter’s First Amendment rights. Doerty then wrote biased decisions all without due process of law.
His findings enabled Council House directors to cover up crimes that they and their administrators allegedly committed. A Washington Supreme Court review has allowed the public to know the names of people involved in elder abuse. It will also give an ethical prosecutor an opportunity to consider felony charges of homicide by abuse against Council House directors and their staff. [Homicide by Abuse]
Homicide ranks as a class A felony punishable by a maximum sentence of life imprisonment in a state correctional institution or by a fine of fifty thousand dollars or both. Both the victim’s family and a Council House administrator benefitted financially by allegedly defrauding federal and state agencies prior to death of a resident. [Who Killed Jackie Nations?]
Doerty’s order precluded naming the people involved which forced redaction of copy pending review. Washington Supreme Court reversed the trial court decision which relieves restrictions on publishing details regarding resident deaths and other abuse.
